Video games, movies, home-made pizza, four-wheeling and finally a family reunion to top it off. O wait, shall I forget the star party at Commanche Springs??? No, I shall not! Jordan, who is the older of the two, is a cousin who feels like a nephew. A lot because of age, but also because of relationship. (As a matter of fact, he gave me an aunt b-day card once.) So, all that to say, my nephews were back in Goree for a visit. We had a really fun time.
Of course, we broke lotz of the rulez!!! Some that may shock the socks off the fwf mom's. Sorry, cover your eyes until the next post! Rules like: Staying up to the wee hours, no cokes-per-day limitation, food in the living room, endless hours of P3, candy and more candy, muddin' in good clothes, greasy hair from lack of shower, toothebrushes didn't come out till churchtime, I'm sure there is some age limit on 4-wheeler driving, oops and dodge durango driving, sleepin till 1 p.m., sparklers (is there still a burn ban?), ummm~pg-13 movies are now OFF limits at my house (my, how things have changed), and did you know that video games cuss these days?, and that is root beer in the first pic, I promise!!! But, that is chocolate sauce in the second pic! And no, it didn't go on the pizza...just the ice cream! I can already tell how this one is gonna play out...like the time I showed "Wizard of Oz" to the preachers' daughter and got the "We don't let her watch movies with witches~Talk". Now, we all know it~the reason God cannot trust me with children for any extended length of time past the VBS allotment! Miss DP plays princess with her g-child and I play 'Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare' with mine.
