Trip To Idaho!

Strange~I distinctly remember making the comment to someone before we left for Idaho that I wish we could just stop time, go on a vacation, then pick right back up where we left off when we get home. We returned from Idaho yesterday, Sunday. Well, on 'routine-Monday' mornings I go with Nancy B to Debbie's house for a time of prayer in the wee hours. Today I walked back in the door, upon returning from Munday, and Kent asked, "What time is it cuz the (grandfather) clock ran down while we were gone." I peeked into the bedroom and said 7:15 a.m. He pointed at the clock and that was the exact time that the clock ran down. Rarely do I ever get to rewind the clock and NOT have to fiddle with the hands to get the right time???? dudududuuu~

The trip tips for the year: 1. If traveling sick on a vacation go to Idaho where your aunt is a nurse 2. If playing in the snow go to Idaho where your uncle works for Cabela's and can outfit you with all the water/wind resistent garb one could ever need.

Seriously, we had a wonderful time; inspite of the mini-trip within the trip to the 'doc-in-the-box' which helped me gain my health composure. We feel rested, relaxed and ready for a new year. My aunt is the 'queen' of hospitality and my uncle is 'king' of guide services. We played in the snow...sledding, hiking, picnicing, snowballing, snowangeling and snowmaning. It was just plain FUN!
