Update on Leroy~

As of Saturday (3/8/08) evening, Leroy is home from California and recovering at his home in Idaho! Thanks, God!

Yesterday’s surgery went well. He had a rough night, though. He had dry heaves, nausea, and dizziness (worse than last time). Anti-dizzy meds haven’t been very effective because he’s having trouble keeping it down. Donna said these symptoms are normal for what he’s been thru with the surgery. GREAT NEWS: No facial spasm or twitching, he has an even smile, tubes are out, temp/bp all ok. Praise GOD!

My uncle Leroy is having brain surgery this morning. It was this time last year that he didn't think he could go on living with the pain he was experiencing from a failed brain surgery. This year has been up and down in the pain management area and today they are bravely re-doing the surgery. An artery is pinching a facial nerve and causing debilitating headaches. Thank you for your prayers!

3/4/08
He finally went into surgery at 1:53 pm and was out at 6:05 pm. The surgery went well, but they won't know if the spasms are gone until Leroy wakes up. He is in ICU. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!
